== Tasklist Prototype Milestone Status == 

This paper summarizes results of first
<impl-plan.html> milestone. The prototype was
evaluated by jlahoda, dpavlica and me (pkuzel).

The prototype must be build from CVS there is
not any binary distribution available.


== Raised Issues ==

  - persistence need to be implemented
    on startup read data from cache to avoid
    slow scanning

  - project meaning (Repository vs. Project tab)
    constantly raised by me, performance
    problem loading documents

  - fix 'grouping bug' for Current File view

  - filtering seems to have performance problem
    reapplying a filter degrades

  - colored output depends on rendering API
    that have not been yet announced (slip expected)

  - concerns about extensibility of used TreeTableView
    (gray text for read only, should be overridden only
    TODOs view)

  - have two Window menu items: Task list (TODO) and
    Suggestions (later on Bugs, ...) instead on
    nesting them into Task List sub-menu

  - add them to Window toolbar

  - clear popup menu on 'white area'

  - define options UI

  - editor submodule is not needed anymore

  - dpavlica delivers final icons

  - next/previous action task discoverability
 
  - filter dialog criteria should be aligned to top

  - API repackaging


== Resume ==

Goals are viable, first four issues above represent
highest risks that should be addressed till beta milestone.
